The Rexel Super Cup kicks off the season: Before the start of the 2026/27 regular season of the Opel HBL and the Alsco Handball Bundesliga Women, the reigning German champions and DHB Cup winners will face off on August 22, 2026, at SAP Garden Munich. In the battle for the first title of the season, HSG Blomberg-Lippe will face Borussia Dortmund in the women’s competition, while SC Magdeburg will take on Füchse Berlin in the men’s competition.
