Andreas Wolff keeps Kiel in the game: THW overturn deficit against strong Hannover

THW Kiel remain unbeaten after four rounds. In the 29:26 victory over an impressive TSV Hannover-Burgdorf, the record champions trailed at half-time and only found their rhythm after the restart. Carried by an outstanding Andreas Wolff and a far more composed attack, Kiel turned around what had been a hard-fought contest for long stretches.

Rhein-Neckar Löwen overturn five-goal deficit against impressive promoted side Balingen
For long periods, it looked as though HBW Balingen-Weilstetten was set to make another big statement at the SAP Arena, but in the end, the Rhein-Neckar Löwen celebrated a 29-27 (9-14) victory. After a poor first half, the Löwen fought their way back, led by an outstanding David Späth and a clinical Marius Steinhauser.

The hosts saw off promoted side SG BBM Bietigheim 31:25 in the end, following a battled first half that finished 14:14. The difference was made by an outstanding goalkeeper and a reliable Aellen from the seven-metre line.
Flensburg end Lemgo's home run and take over top spot
For the first time in more than five years, SG Flensburg-Handewitt have won a Opel HBL match in Lemgo. In their 39:30 victory at the PHOENIX CONTACT arena, SG produced a clinical attacking display and an outstanding performance from Benjamin Buric in goal. Flensburg remain unbeaten after four rounds and move to the top of the table, at least for now.
